Position Description
- Design solutions to automate Platform Services related tasks
- Bridge communication between users of different levels and departments
- Handle external customer communication regarding OS and compiler support
- Ability to build and debug compiler related issues in multi-platform
- Plan and define OS compute platform standard for company products, based on information collected from stakeholders
- Communicate with external OS vendors and the open source community to coordinate bug fixes or enhancements requests
- Be the first level of support for Unix environment issues
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Configuration Management or IT areas
- 5+ years on the EDA industry
- BSEE or related areas, MSEE preferred
- Familiar with Perforce, Clearcase and other source code management tools
- Knowledge of software configuration management concepts/process
- Experience with scripting programming and Make file. C/C++ and Java are a plus
- Good problem solving and analysis skills
- Advanced knowledge on Unix commands and utilities
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to work with different cultures and work styles
